CBD Is A Key Ingredient Found in Hemp and Cannabis
CBD is one of over 60 compounds found in cannabis that belong to a class of molecules called cannabinoids. Of these compounds, CBD and THC are usually present in the highest concentrations; therefore, are most recognized and studied.
CBD Is Non-Psychoactive
Unlike THC, CBD does not cause a high. However, it does interact with one’s peripheral nervous system to provide natural healing.
CBD Water May Be Dangerous
The proliferation of CBD products in the marketplace leaves many questioning the quality of such products and their effectiveness. Many manufacturers are simply relying on the certificate of analysis coming from the producer of the CBD extracts and are not following-up with formal lab tests to check for microbials, solvents, pesticides, and heavy metals in their finished products. Additionally, manufacturers are eschewing scientific evidence regarding the proper packaging of CBD products. Studies have shown leaving CBD under a light source degrades the quality of the CBD over time, reducing the effectiveness of their CBD products.
Because degradation of CBD occurs with exposure to light sources, we recommend storing CBD in a dark cool place. This is why our products are not sold in clear packaging, but rather in solid-colored bottles and jars or dark-colored bottles.
